Accommodations

The Student Accessibility Services Office determines approved accommodations after reviewing all documentation that has been requested. Please review the information about academic and housing accommodations and contact the SASO office if you have questions about the use of accommodations.

Once accommodations are approved and sent out, they are applied proactively versus retroactively. The steps below show a general outline of the process. For more information specifically regarding academic or housing accommodations, please see the links to the left.

Outline on registering with the office.

  1. Students along with their medical providers are to complete the DSS Provider form and provide supporting documents to the Student Accessibility Services Office.
  2. Student Accessibility Services will review documentation.
  3. Once documentation has been approved, letters will be sent to the appropriate offices and faculty members.
